Alden Water Pumps is the UAE distribution and service arm of Floben Trading LLC, established in 2003. The company is the sole representative and distributor of Alden Water Pump in the UAE and provides pre- and post-sales service.
What types of water pumps does Alden supply?
Alden supplies submersible drainage pumps, sewage cutter pumps, domestic centrifugal and peripheral pumps, horizontal multistage booster pumps, deep well and open well pumps, pond pumps, high head steel-body pumps, pressure kits and float switches.
Which pump is best for basement or sump drainage?
For high-volume basement and sump drainage with three-phase power, use a 3–15 hp DSP submersible drainage pump. For villa pits that receive sewage or kitchen waste, choose a single-phase DSP sewage cutter pump (1–3 hp).
What pump do I need for construction dewatering?
Heavy-duty 3-phase DSP submersible drainage pumps (3–15 hp) are commonly used. Send us your flow and head and we will size it.
How do I fix low water pressure in a villa?
Install a horizontal multistage booster pump with a pressure kit sized to the flow and the height of your highest outlet. Alden’s AMH booster range is 0.8 to 1.5 hp.

Where is Alden Water Pumps located?
Our office is at 101 Building, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. We supply and service customers in Sharjah, Dubai, Ajman, Abu Dhabi and the other Emirates.
What does ‘head’ mean on a pump datasheet?
Head is the height, in metres, to which a pump can lift water. Total head is the vertical lift plus friction losses and any pressure needed at the outlet.
How do I convert hp to kW?
1 hp is about 0.75 kW. So 3 hp ≈ 2.2 kW, 5 hp ≈ 3.7 kW and 15 hp ≈ 11 kW.
What is the difference between a submersible and a centrifugal pump?
A submersible pump sits underwater and needs no priming; a surface centrifugal pump sits above the water and draws it by suction. See our comparison guide.
What is a sewage cutter pump?
A submersible pump with a cutting mechanism that shreds fibrous solids so sewage can be pumped through a small pipe without blocking.
What float switch lengths are available?
Alden float switches come with 3 m, 5 m and 10 m cable.
